4 Austrian Ducats
Even though this coin is dated 1915, most parts of the 4 ducats in circulation were not minted that year. In fact, they are still coined by the Austrian State Mint and dated 1915.
Today the 4 Austrian ducats are one of the investment gold coins with the highest fineness, equivalent to 986 on 1000 parts of gold.
Description of 4 Ducats:
On the obverse side there is the image of the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph wearing a laurel wreath, with the caption: FRANC IOS IDG AVSTRIAE IMPERATOR. On the reverse side there is the Austrian shield overlapping a crowned double-headed eagle, with the caption: HUNGAR BOHEM GAL LOD ILL REX A A 1915.
